Welcome to Ballygilbert

Burning BushBallygilbert outside photoBallygilbert Presbyterian Church is a vibrant and welcoming church with a bright and comfortable environment for worship. Our newly refurbished suite of halls creates an informal atmosphere where people are able to meet before and after services. Have a look in our Gallery.

Primarily, however, we are not about buildings nor activities - but we are about people. Worship plays a central role in our life together in Ballygilbert. We offer services which are upbeat, where a clear Bible-based message is presented and made relevant for life in today's world.

We have a strong belief in our ministry to children, teenagers and young adults. We want them to feel valued and to develop a vibrant and sustained faith

Above all we aim to be a 'caring and living community of Christ's people reaching out to others'. In this regard, we want to:

  • Provide an opportunity for all to come to, and grow in, a living faith
  • Make you feel welcome
  • Create a caring community where you are involved and feel valued
  • Be family-focused
  • Provide a high standard of worship, embracing the best of the old and new
  • Reach out to the wider community, both at home and abroad to show practical Christianity in action

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped out at our last Messy Church. We had a great time learning about the Christmas story, making Christmas crafts and singing Christmas songs. We finished the afternoon with chicken and chips and donuts, very tasty.

Our next Messy Church is on Sunday 25th January 2015, 3.30pm to 5.30pm. We wish all our Messy Church families a Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year.
